I‘m back on board with getting my feet wet in what I feel like will be one of the most challenging terms yet. I’ve been holding on to my calendar to dear life. If I took a snap shot and shared with you, it may be difficult to make out all the dates. Every day there is something to do, study, write, or approve. My main goal for this month and for every year after that is to be more efficient with my time. Efficiency is key in handling multiple projects and going to graduate school. There really should not be any room for procrastination. I’ve been resting on many sources of inspiration which has acted as fuel for me to work harder and bring forth quality work.
Better work.
I like managing an empowerment group because it forces me to relax and smell the roses. Last month I went Kayaking, saw a few movies, and had a debate about films vs. books. It adds the spice that I crave in my life. It brings out the more adventurous side of me. I don’t allow myself enough time to really marinate and saturate myself with my past accomplishments. Once I set out to do one thing and complete it, I quickly move on to the next. For example, I am thinking of strategies with an upcoming event toward the end of the month right now. As I get closer to it I am thinking about my events for October, November, and December. Yesterday, I jotted some projects for 2012.
It’s important to enjoy everything and relax. I love the weekends because everything is taken down just a notch. Cheers to the weekend. Thank God for the blessings that have been placed in my life.
